The UK Wildfowl Sarcocystis Survey was set up as a collaborative project in 2015 between WWT, BASC, and the University of Liverpool, with additional input from the Royal Veterinary College in 2017. The aim of the project was to study the emergence, distribution, and potential impacts of Sarcocystis infection in UK wildfowl.
The findings of this collaborative project are summarised in the 2015-2018 Feedback Report. This report draws on the data provided through the Sarcocystis Survey website, as well as the analysis of tissue samples sent in from across the UK.
